Role Overview
The Executive, Digital Resources Management is responsible for the day-to-day organisation, maintenance, and preservation of SEAFIC’s digital records, research outputs, and media materials. The role supports the effective management of institutional knowledge, ensuring that digital assets are systematically stored, properly labelled, secure, and accessible for operational, research, and communications needs.
A. Digital Resources & Archive Management
Manage and maintain SEAFIC's digital archives by organising, cataloguing, and preserving research documents, publications, administrative records, and media assets. Ensure consistent file structures, metadata, version control, secure storage, and regular backups to safeguard the integrity, accessibility, and long-term preservation of digital resources.
B. Research, Media & Knowledge Management
Support the organisation's research and communications functions by maintaining structured repositories for research outputs, publications, datasets, and multimedia content. Coordinate with internal teams to archive approved materials, facilitate timely retrieval of digital resources, and ensure all records are accurately organised and readily accessible for operational, reporting, and knowledge-sharing purposes.
C. Digital Governance, Coordination & Administrative Support
Promote effective digital records management by working closely with internal stakeholders to implement archiving standards and provide guidance on document management practices. Monitor data integrity, coordinate with IT on technical matters, and provide interim administrative support when required to ensure continuity of essential organisational operations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
